Goblins, Werewolfs, and Trees
When you all were in the goblins lair, did you ever feel like you were going to die, why? When you were running from the wereweolfs was that as scary as the goblins, why? And did you ever feel like you were never going to get down from the tree you were in while running away from the werewolfs?

(Bilbo) Oh yes at that specific time I did feel as though I was going to die because back then I was a frightful mess and wasnt brave at all! I thought I was going to die in the lair because i thought that we were to weak.I really underestimated gandalfs power because he saved us numerous times . So the answer would be yes, I thought I was going to die in the goblins lair.
ReplyDeleteWhen we were running away from the wolves I felt worry but not as much because I knew Gandalf could possibly save us again. But I was still a little worried because I knew that the werewolfs were faster than I was so it would be easier to catch us.
When we were in the tree I knew we would eventually get down because we had Gandalf and he could use some of his powers to help us.
(Balin) Yes when we were in the goblins lair I was not worried at all because goblins are not as smart as us dwarfs and we had Gandalf if we needed to make a great escape.
ReplyDeleteAs we were running away from the werewolfs i was more worried because werewolfs go after their prey and don't stop till they get it and kill them. So I was more worried about the werewolfs because they are more dangerous.
When we were in the tree I didn't know how long we would be there because as I said before the werewolfs were probably not going to give up.
(Thorin) Well I was sure that we would escape the goblins Because we had Gandalf and he could definitely help us becasue he is a wizard and can preform magic that thos goblins could never preform. I felt the same way about the wrewolfs. When we were in the tree I knew we would get out because the werewolfs would have to give up eventually.
ReplyDelete(Balin) But Thorin, I believe that you are wrong because those werewolfs probably would have had guard, guarding the tree 24/7. Even if it took them weeks to give up, we wouldn't have had any food to survive and so I think you are wrong saying they will eventually give up.

ReplyDeleteWhen we ran into the goblins I wasn't afraid because I knew with some quick magic and some fast running we could escape from the lair.
While we were being chased by the werewolfs I wasn't worried because I knew we just had to find a high elevated place which was the tree.
In the tree I knew that the werewolfs would not give up because they were determined to kill. If I did some magic I knew that we could have gotten away, which we did. So I wasn't worried because I knew I could just do some magic to get away.
(Thorin) Yes, I guess you are right Balin, it is true that we would have run out of food to eat and probably would have starved to death in that tree. And yes werewolfs are very determined creatures so I will have to give this one to you Balin..... as they say now a days.... my bad..... lol.
